It seemed impossible to most, but Huvr released a video on YouTube about its new hoverboard. The Huvr supposedly worked with high powered electromagnets that can lift things up to 180 pounds a few inches above the ground. It works best when it is used on asphalt or roads. An app was featured in the video along with this new piece of transportation to help control and navigate it. Check out the video here.
Sadly for most, the Huvr was merely a prank by Funny or Die. It is not a real product. The video was impressively edited and none of the hoverboard visuals in the video were real. Still, many celebrities that contributed to this video helped make it look realistic. Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future 2), Tony Hawk (skateboarder), and a few others were in the video. Although this was just a small hoax for fun, it opens a gate for hope that hoverboards can be a possibility one day.
