On May 3rd, 2014 our school called in the Dialed Action Sports Team for a show, featuring “The Mad Scientist” Ryan and “The Racer” Kyle on BXM stunt bikes. Throughout the entire assembly, the two put on an amazing stunt show with a variety of different tricks, talents, and skits. However, this was not the only reason the Dialed Action Sports Team came to our school. While they were here, they used the stunts to grab our attention so that they can try and teach us some lessons about different life lessons. They talked about responsible choices, living a healthy lifestyle, and drug-awareness as they gave us some visual scenarios to think about and described ways we could still have fun, while being safe.
Brian Cunningham emphasized in the assembly, the importance of staying drug-free and all of the consequences involved with drugs. He told us that instead, if you just chase after a dream and focus your energy at being the best you can be, the rush is even better, and lasts a longer time than any drug. In addition, Dialed Action Sports Team touched up upon anti-bullying and bike safety when they showed and explained all the precautions the BMX stunt riders have to take before going out on the ramp. The show also used funny skits to stress the importance of being cautious and not careless, and making sure to not do anything dangerous. All in all, the Dialed Action Sports Team’s Stunt show was not just an exhilarating show to experience, but it was also influential, informative, as well as carried a significant message of staying safe.
Thanks to the Wayne Board of Education and the PTO Board, our school was able to celebrate getting through the NJASK with this amazing stunt show performed by Ryan, Kyle, and Brian Cunningham from Dialed Action Sports Team! I will post the link below to their website in case anyone is interested in checking it out.
